Since 2001 (the opening of Playchess) I been battling to make decent opening books for the engines, for personal reason I have to interrupt the quest from late 2006 till few months ago.

The main problem I had with Chessbase software was that if you started to play around with the move in the books all sorts of unwanted lines would start to appear. As well with the making of books from games, just some time some strange lines comes up, like following the book on a 35 moves mate loss......

does any of you book makers use some different software to make the books?:D
